Young Living’s peppermint essential oil is one of our favorites due to its numerous uses. This oil can be found almost everywhere, from peppermint candies, toothpaste, mouth fresheners, all the way to ingredients. Peppermint can be found in solid form in medicines such as tablets and capsules.
The oil is very effective in helping an upset/sour stomach. The strong properties of the oil can help break down the gasses in the stomach and the food. It is also be used to help strengthen a weak immune system. Another common use of peppermint oil is to rub it onto your temples, forehead hairline and back of neck to provides nervous system support during times of stress.
A word of caution though.. Young Living’s peppermint oil is of the highest quality and can have a burning sensation on sensitive areas of the body. It’s recommended to start with mixing it 50/50 with an base oil first. Also keep away from eyes.
Peppermint oil helps with the relief of occasional heartburn by simply places one drop of the oil on your tongue. Since the oil makes the gums strong it is also popularly used in toothpastes.

How To Use Peppermint Essential Oil
- Dilute 1:1, apply on location, abdomen (digestion), temples (headache)
- Apply on chakras and/or Vita Flex points
- Inhale directly
- Take as dietary supplement
Caution: Avoid contact with eyes, mucus membranes, sensitive skin or fresh wounds or burns. Do not apply on infants younger than 18 months of age.
