"Originated in the bayous of Louisiana among the Acadian immigrants who came to be known locally as ""Cajuns."" They began a new method of cooking that involved the use of fresh produce and lots of spices.This seasoning includes paprika, onion, garlic, chilli, fennel and thyme for a spicy addition to meat or fish.
What's in it?
Salt, Paprika, Rice Flour, Pepper, Onion, Basil, Garlic, Chilli 6%, Fennel, Thyme 4%.
Lightly coat chicken, fish or beef with vegetable oil, coat generously with seasoning. Pan fry or barbecue, traditionally until blackened. Good for sprinkling on roast potatoes and adding to dressings.Ideal when added to dipping sauces. Sprinkle over meat, poultry, fish, seafood or vegetables. Add to orange juice and use as a marinade.
May contain sesame seeds.
