Product Details

Founded in the late 1950's, the Tementini CaBianca lies among the gentle slopes of upper Monferrato in the village of Alice bel Colle near the town of Acqui Terme. Here, Pier Luigi Borgna crafts high-quality wines from the 39 hectares of vineyards surrounding the estate, planted only with traditional varietals like Barbera, Nebbiolo, Arneis, Gavi and Moscato.

The Langhe represents the sub-region situated South & East of the Tarano River in the most premium part of the Piemonte, and encompasses the villages of Barolo, Barbaresco or Alba which are amongst the most famous. Nebbiolo is a native grape of the region, planted for over 1500 years. This cuvee is a great introduction of the fruit-forward grape, as it has't spent any time in oak-barrel: Intense and fragrant bouquet of ripe fruit; dry, warm flavour with a strong aftertaste of fruit, particularly of blackberries, with a lingering finish and pleasantly soft tannins.
